Dr. Joseph Bufano
Dr. Bufano was born and raised in Carteret, New Jersey. He is a Board Certified Chiropractic Physician with over 30 years of experience. Dr. Bufano earned his Bachelor’s Degree from Bloomfield College with a focus on Pre-Chiropractic Studies and then attended Life University in Marietta, Georgia, where he earned his Chiropractic Degree.
Dr. Bufano specializes in musculoskeletal diagnosis and treatment. Over his years of practice, he has earned certifications in injury prevention, ergonomics, electrophysiological evaluation, nutrition, and sports injuries. He also has extensive training from the Spine Research Institute in San Diego, California, with his post-graduate studies mainly focused on whiplash and mild traumatic brain injuries.
He is an active member of the American Chiropractic Association (ACA), the Association of New Jersey Chiropractors (ANJC), the Nutrition Education Council, the American College of Sports Medicine, the Medical Group Management Association (MGMA), and the American College of Healthcare Executives. Dr. Bufano is an Honorary PBA Member of Local 47, and a member of the Knights of Columbus and the Elks.
